As a second example, Af for a uniformly polarized charge transfer transition of l,4-bis(R)-l-phenyl-ethylamino)-9,10-anthraquinone [2] is shown in Figure 8. There is no vibronic coupling and therefore no difference in the frequency dependence of the tensor coordinates. Furthermore, the tensor coordinate A u 0 because the transition is polarized parallel to the xj direction (long axis of the anthraquinone skeleton).
