Chassidim

There is only one thing that can be said about this Here (in this instance) Kerning was in error It is obvious that Kerning was influenced by the Quabbalist Isaak Lurja, who taught a system of the Letters-Kawwanot. However, what the proponents of Chassidim themselves think about this system comes plainly into view, out of an account which Martin Buber gives, and here is his quote ...

As noted in Chapter 9, the Dionysian Artificers who settled in Israel reputedly founded the Cassidens or Assideans who later became the Chassidim. According to Philo and Josephus, the Cassidens joined with the Essenes Both the Cassidens and Essenes disallowed women to their assemblies. 

Schneur Zalman of Lyadi—founder of the Chabad-Lubavitch Chassidic Movement—suggested that the entire Torah is the name of God. According to Zalman, if God s letters were to return to their source, the universe and all creation would never have existed, because their very idea would be nonexistent. 

Zev (Ze ev) Hassid was born in Jaffa, Palestine, probably on October 1st, 1899, although he seemed uncertain about the date of his birth and sometimes gave the year as 1897 or 1901. The name William was added after he came to the United States. His parents, Mor-decai and Esperanza Hassid (Chassid) were born in Poland, but were Russian citizens at the time of his birth. His father was a lumber merchant who took lumber from Russia to Palestine. When Zev was 4 years old, the family moved from Palestine to a farm in the vicinity of Kremenetz in the Russian Ukraine, and his childhood was spent in this rural environment. He often wandered in the adjacent woods and fields, hunted for birds nests, and associated with shepherds, so much so that his father scolded him and said that if he did not spend more time on his studies he would qualify for nothing more than a herdsman.
