Primitive certainty

Very little is certain on organic matter formation in the atmosphere or in the ocean of the primitive Earth as a result of lightning, volcanism, or other energy sources. Since no preserved geological records exist from the concerned era, there is no certainty about the reactor conditions (physical parameters kind, concentration and/or fluxes of reagents). The endogenous synthesis of... [Pg.73]

Chondrules A ratio 53Mn/55Mn = 9.4 x 10 6 has been inferred from chondrules in the primitive Chainpur meteorite. In this case chondrules having larger Mn/Cr abundance ratio have been shown to also have larger A53Cr/55Mn ratio. If these numbers could all be taken with certainty, one could infer that the chondrules formed a few million years after the CAIs, which would be a very important conclusion. [Pg.227]
