The Central and East London Breast Screeiung Service (CELBSS) at St Bartholomew Hospital, London, was the first screeiung unit in the UK National Health Service Breast Screening Programme (NHSBSP) to incorporate FFDM into routine screening. The study was carried out from January 2005 to June 2007 (Vinnicombe et al. 2009). In the population-based NHSBSP, women aged 50-70 years were invited for a two-view mammographic examination once every 3 years.
