FIBERS VEGETABLE. Vegetable libers, as ihe mime implies, are derived from plains. The principal chemical component in plants is cellulose. and therefore they are also referred lo as cellulosie libers. The libers are Usually hound by a natural phenolic polymer, lignin, which also is frei Ucntly present in rhe cell wall of ihe liber thus vegetable fibers are also alien referred to as lignoeclbilosic libers, except for cotton, which does nol contain lignin.

Cellulosie fiber (ground wool pulp) is applied to eover metallie eloths. This filter aid forms a much more compressible cake with good permeability but displays a smaller particle retentivity than diatomite or perlite. The cost of cellulose is higher than that of diatomite or perlite. Thus this and other filter aids are only applied to special cases (such as precoat stabilization or chemical resistance). 

Once the dyeing cycle is complete, the CO is gasified to recover the excess dye. Unburdened, the clean CO cycles back into the dyeing vessel for reuse, a manoeuvre that saves energy, water, and the heavy metals that comprise much of the toxic runoff into our planet s polluted waterways, according to DyeCoo. The process isn t without its limitations, however. DyeCoo is currently only able to dye scoured (or prewashed) polyester fabric, although the company notes that it s working on a version that will dye unscoured fabric, as well as reactive dyes for cellulosie textiles made from plants.
