Cation-exchange resin columns lead-form

Remove the ammonia from distilled water by passing it through a small column (e.g. 30 cm long by 1-2 cm internal diameter) of cation exchange resin in the hydrogen form just before use and store the water in a tightly stoppered glass flask. Failure to observe this precaution will eventually lead to trouble in almost any laboratory. [Pg.82]
