Catalases imaging systems

In another system, catalase or peroxidase enzymes can be used to produce an image in minute 02 bubbles (vesicular image) or an image in dye produced by the catalyzed reaction of a peroxy compound and a leuco dye, or a color developer in the presence of a dye-forming coupler. The enzymes are inactivated in areas exposed to light. In one system the metalloenzymes are poisoned by CN photodissociated by exposure of cyanotriphenylmethane compounds255 such as (123).
