Bucherer, Hans

Bucherer, H. T. J. Prakt. Chem. 1904, 69, 49. Hans Th. Bucherer (1869—1949) was bom in Ehrenfeld, Germany. He shuttled between industry and academia all through his career. 

Hans T. Bucherer, Professor, Munich Technische Hochschule, who, it is reported, was the only member of the Bavarian Polytechnical Society to resign (in 1933) when the Society (under some pressure) pledged its fealty to Nazi Chancellor A. Hitler (see Bucherer, H. T. J. Praia. Chem., 1904,69,49).
