Bridging oxalate

Two types of Cu atoms both with octahedral co-ordination. Each Cu bound to 4 phthalate and 2 H O molecules. Polymeric ff Polymeric with distorted square-pyramidal Cu co-ordination and bridging oxalates gg... [Pg.334]

The IR spectra show characteristic bands of a tetradentate, bridging oxalate (= ox) group in (acac)2Fe(p-ox)Fe(acac)2 (vasCO, 1672 cm-1, 5C02 802 cm 1, etc) 63 IR bands due to vas, vsC02 for unidentate carboxylates were seen at 1624 and 1380 cm 1 respectively for Ru(PhC00)2(dppf)(CH3CN)(H20), where dppf = l,l,-bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene. Modes from bidentate carboxylates were, however, observed for Ru(EtCOO)2(dppf).364... [Pg.324]

Other hydrated salts include Sc2 (C2 04)3-61120, Sc (N03)3-4H20, and Sc2(S04)3-5H20 the structure of the oxalate shows approximately dodecahedral coordination of scandium by two water molecules and six oxygens from bridging oxalates. The oxalate is, unlike lanthanide oxalates, slightly soluble in water and also dissolves in excess oxalate as 80(0204)2. No structural data are available for the nitrate, although it should be noted that eight-coordinate Sc(N03)3(H20)2 and nine-coordinate Sc(N03)3(H20)3 molecules are present in crown ether... [Pg.4201]

CH3)3 (Ox)-3H30 120-10 emu/mole probably polymeric with bridging oxalate ions ... [Pg.565]
