Borides and Gallides

Borides and Gallides. Cr3NiBe and Cr2Ni3Be have been identified in the Cr— Ni— B system and shown to possess the V2B3- and VjBg-type structures, respectively. The ternary borides Cr3Re2B5, CrRe3B4 jj, and (Cr, Mo)3B2

The phase diagram of the Cr-Ga system has been studied and the four intermetallic compounds CrjGa (m.p. 1620°Q, CrGa, CrgGa (m.p. 775°C), and CrGa (m.p. 700°Q were identified.
