Blinking suppression

Fomenko, V. and Nesbitt, D.J. (2008) Solution control of radiative and nonradiative lifetimes a novel contribution to quantum dot blinking suppression Nano Lett 8 287-93. [Pg.134]

A class 2 laser is safe because the blink reflex will limit the exposure to no more than 0.25 s. It only applies to visible-light lasers (400-700 nm). Limit class 2 lasers to 1 mW continuous wave or more if the emission time remains less than 0.25 s or if the light does not perform as spatially coherent. Intentional suppression of the blink reflex could lead to eye injury. [Pg.297]
