Color Blending

It is obviously crucial then that the three color TV primary phosphors be chosen with two factors in mind first the colors must be highly saturated so that the gamut of achievable blended colors can be as large as possible. Secondly, the phosphors have to do this efficiently by creating a maximum visual impression with minimum excitation energy.
