Black Triangle Scheme

The concept of intensive surveillance of new drugs, achieved in the UK by the introduction of the Black Triangle scheme (see Glossary). [Pg.6]

Black Triangle scheme A scheme introduced in the UK in the 1980s to promote intensive surveillance of new drugs. An inverted black triangle is displayed on all product information as a reminder to health professionals to report all suspected ADRs. The period of intensive surveillance is usually at least two years (see p. 6). [Pg.98]

Molded parts prepared at 3% carbon black loading are also shown in Figure 11.5. The relationship between low- (open triangles) and high- (solid triangles) intensity mixing schemes is similar to that for 1% loaded parts. As one would expect, the 3% black loaded parts are darker. [Pg.166]

Figure 16. Sketch of the scheme how to select a proper set of starting points for the EE in d = 2. (a) Sierpinski triangular lattice after the second iteration, all black circles are starting points.. A round this gray shaded triangle the Sierpinski lattice is expanded in a clockwise fashion, (b) to the upper right, (c) downwards, wid (d) to the upper left. Figure 16.
