Bisplatinum Complexes Containing Bridging Dicarboxylates

The use of aromatic dicarboxylates as leaving groups led to studies on tri-and tetra-carboxylates and some interesting bisplatinum complexes containing two Pt(am)2 groups bridged by the polycarboxylate [42, 43]. Thus, for a 1,2,4,5-tetracarboxylate a general structure is  [Pg.74]

These complexes represent an interesting attempt to obtain good localized concentrations upon hydrolysis of the Pt(am)2 moiety. For some poly-carboxylates, however, the possibility of isomers could complicate purification and structural assignment. [Pg.74]
