Bis diethylamino trifluorophosphorane

The reaction, using 0.1 mole (17.9 g) of (diethylamino)tetrafluorophosphorane and 0.1 mole (14.5 g) of (diethylamino)trimethylsilane (A/,A -diethyl-l,l,l-trimethylsilylamine), is carried out as described in Section D. 

The melting point of bis(diethylamino)trifluorophosphorane is +5°. Boiling points of 79°/14 torr and 84-86°/18 torr have been reported, = 1.4049.
