Bathophenanthrolinedisulfonic acid

Bathophenanthrolinedisulfonic acid electrodes, 25 Bayleyite structure, 848 Bentonite minerals... [Pg.7182]

Iron speciation of Fe(II) and Fe(III) is reported more often than any other speciation. The methods are based on cation exchange, anion exchange, and ion-pairing chromatography. Only a few of the methods are discussed here. Saitoh and Oikawa [11] simultaneously determined Fe(ll) and Fe(lll) by postascorbic acid. This procedure was found to be successful in spring water samples. Moses et al. [12] reported the determination of Fe(ll) and Fe(lll) in water samples. [Pg.361]

Instead of a,a -dipyxidyl, the following can also be used as reagents 1,10-phenanthroline (III), 4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline (bathophenanthroline) (IV) and bathophenanthrolinedisulfonic acid. ... [Pg.264]

Bathophenanthroline and bathophenanthrolinedisulfonic acid are more sensitive reagents than a,a -dipyridyl. The disulfonic acid reagent is water-soluble. The chelates with Fe i are red like the chelate of a,a -dip5n idyl. [Pg.264]
