Autophagy-Dependent Apoptosis in Cancer Therapy

From a small library of 1,4,5-trisubstituted 2,3-triazole compounds [Pg.41]

The biological data suggest that compound 52 inhibits breast cancer cell growth both in vitro and in vivo through induction of autophagy-mediated apoptosis and will help to develop a promising therapeutic strategy for the treatment of breast cancer. [Pg.41]

In addition, chemical stability investigation indicates that the conjugated sugar residue seems to improve the stability of podophyllotoxin residues under the physiological conditions. [Pg.42]
