A mcthanolic extract of Aurantii pericarpium (10), developed in the polar solvent. system shows the blue fluorescent anthranilate and coumarin zones in the R, range 0.8-0.99. Additional blue and orange-yellow fluorescent zones of flavanon and flavanonol glycosides are seen at R, 0.05-0.25. (For separation of flavonoid glycosides, see Section 7.1.7, Fig. 23) The flavonoid zones of the Citri pericarp methanolic extract II are less prominent than those in extract 10.
