H Chemical Shifts of Structural-reporter Groups of Constituent Monosaccharides for a Glyco-asparagine (Compound 54) of the N-Acetyllactosamine Type Containing a-(l- 2)-Linked Fucose... [Pg.331]

Compound 57 is a linear glyco-asparagine containing a terminating Fuc group a-(l— 2)-linked to Gal of theN-acetyllactosamine moiety (a-1). This compound was isolated from the urine of a patient with aspar-tylglucosaminuria,89 as the minor (10%) component of a mixture containing 55 as the main constituent. The 500-MHz, H-n.m.r. spectrum of this mixture is presented in Fig. 39 the relevant, n.m.r.-spectral parameters for 57 are summarized in Table XXIII. [Pg.338]
