Arsenic trisulfld—Orpiment—Auripigmentum—Yellow sulfld of arsenic—King s yellow—As-Sa—246—occurs in nature in brilliant golden yellow Hakes. Obtained by passing HaS through an acid solution of AsaOa or by heating a mixture of As and S, or of AsaOa and S in equivalent proportions.
