Arabidopsis thaliana somatic

In the case of Arabidopsis thaliana (a system described by Gaj, 2001), somatic embryos develop via a DSE from explant cells located on the adaxial side in the cotyledon node (Fig. 3 Kurczyhska et al, 2007).
