Angular overlap model trigonal bipyramidal complexes

Large numbers of five-coordinate copper(II) complexes in several stereochemistries are known. The spectra which have been most studied with a view to interpretation are those of the trigonal bipyramidal complexes, for which assignments have been proposed on the basis of molecular orbital, angular overlap, and crystal-field models. 

On the basis of your answers to Problems 10-6 and 10-7, which geometry, square-pyramidal or trigonal-bipyramidal, is predicted to be more likely for five-coordinate complexes by the angular overlap model Consider both m-donor and combined CT-donor and rr-acceptor ligands.
