Analysis of amplified samples

Remove the tubes from the programmable heating block. If the samples are not analysed at once, they can be stored at -20°C until they are analysed. [Pg.44]

Prepare the 8% polyacrylamide gel acrylamide/bisacrylamide (25 1), x50 TAE, 10% ammonium persulphate, TEMED and water. [Pg.44]

Prepare the samples by adding 2[xl of xlO loading buffer to 8 xl of the amplified product. [Pg.44]

Do not forget to include the appropriate molecular weight marker (1 kb ladder or marker V from Boehringer, Mannheim). [Pg.44]

When separation is achieved, stain the gel by placing it in a solution of ethidium bromide (0.5 mg mH) for 15 min. [Pg.44]
