The amine oxidase inhibitors or hydrazine derivatives also produce hepatic injury in susceptible individuals. The incidence of jaundice to iproniazid is approximately 1% (Zimmerman 1972). Lithium produces a variety of rashes, but it is uncertain whether or not allergy is involved.
