The drug is contraindicated in die presence of an allergy to die drug, pregnancy (Category C), lactation, and phenylketonuria (oral form only). Linezolid is used cautiously in patients with bone marrow depression, hepatic dysfunction, renal impairment, hypertension, and hyperthyroidism.
