Alkaloids of the Benzofluorene Type

Dbnobl and Van Cotthem [43] have described the separation of aconitine and pseudoaconitine in galenical preparations. Fischer and Weixlbatjmer [61b] have worked on the qualitative determination. 

Zettler [267 c] has separated 9 alkaloids of VercUrum species by TLC on silica gel HF254, using cyclohexane-diethylamine (90 + 10) or (70 + 30). Tomko and VassovI [242b] have used alumina G and benzene-ethanol for separating the alkaloids in VercUmm album ssp. lobdianum.
