Sato, A. Morishita, T. Shiraki, T. Yoshioka, S. Horikoshi, H. etal. (1993) Aldose reductase inhibitors from a marine sponge, Dictyodendrilla sp. J. Org. Chem., 58, 7632-4. [Pg.336]

Three aldose reductase inhibitors (490 492) were isolated from Dictyodendrilla sp. from Japan and their structures were determined by X-ray analysis and spectroscopic studies [418],... [Pg.691]

The most complex bis-indolic derivatives may be the sulfated pyrrolocarbazoles isolated from Dictyodendrilla sp. harvested in Japan. These highly branched derivatives, which are unnamed, are inhibitors of aldose reductase (Sato et al, 1993). [Pg.1139]
