Agglomerating agent

Agglomeration-Based Fine Coal Cleaning. Most recently a search for nonaqueous collectors or reagents for fine coal cleaning has been undertaken. A number of Hquids have been tested and found to be suitable as agglomeration agents. These include heavy oil. Freon, pentane, hexane, heptane, 2-methylbutane, methyl chloride, and Hquid carbon dioxide. [Pg.255]

In the agglomeration step, the latexes are partially agglomerated using a core/shell agglomerating agent latex, which consists of an elastomeric 1,3-butadiene/slyrene copolymer core and an ethyl acrylate/methacrylic acid copolymer shell. This partial agglomeration operation should not be confused with a coagulation operation where the emulsion is fully destabilized (13). [Pg.219]

In this study a series of incorpomted extrudates based on mixtures of titania with bentonite, as an agglomerating agent, were pnxluced. The textural characterisation of di e matearials surface area, porosity, pore volume and pore size distribution, mechanical strength and analysis of the surface composition were undertaken in order to select the most favourable composition. [Pg.234]
