The presented document is divided into four sections besides this introduction. Section 2 shows a review of the most relevant and recent literature in terms of reducing the BuUwhip Effect, with special emphasis on models based on Distributed Intelligence. Section 3 describes the model created with the different agents that compose it, the stmcture which includes them and the relationships among them, which is the way in which inteUigence has been introduced to the system. Section 4 presents the results, mainly related to reducing the BuUwhip Effect, for which we have used time series data from the literature. FinaUy, Sect. 5 presents the conclusions according to the planned objectives. [Pg.2]
