The ARO system design is very different from traditional reverse osmosis systems. 

With ARO, concentrations of 1,000 - 10,000 to 1 can be achieved using lower performance membranes. An ARO system can reconcentrate dilute solutions to at or near bath strength (typically a concentration of 40% to 70% is accomplished) without any evaporation or additional concentration technology.
