Adjectives trademarks

Capitalize trademarks use them as adjectives with the appropriate nouns. [Pg.146]

A trademark is an adjective that describes a material or product (e.g., Teflon resin, Kleenex tissue). The term brand name is a synonym for trademark. In ACS publications, do not use the trademark symbols and or the service mark symbolSM. They are not necessary to ensure legal protection for the trademark. [Pg.157]

Use trademarks as adjectives only, never as nouns or verbs. Because trademarks are adjectives, they do not have plural forms. [Pg.157]
