Adjectives trademarks

Capitalize trademarks use them as adjectives with the appropriate nouns. 

A trademark is an adjective that describes a material or product (e.g., Teflon resin, Kleenex tissue). The term brand name is a synonym for trademark. In ACS publications, do not use the trademark symbols and or the service mark symbolSM. They are not necessary to ensure legal protection for the trademark. 

Use trademarks as adjectives only, never as nouns or verbs. Because trademarks are adjectives, they do not have plural forms.
