Acetyl coenzyme carboxylase inhibitors

Etoxazole and flufenoxuron are inhibitors of chitin biosynthesis. Spirodiclofen and spiromesifen are inhibitors of lipid biosynthesis. Spirodiclofen blocks the enzyme acetyl-coenzyme A carboxylase, which allows mites to synthesize important fatty acids.
