Sestak [87] has suggested the term ""accomodation coefficient" for any additional terms, other than (1 - or)",which are needed to modify equations based on reaction order (RO) for application to heterogeneous systems. (See also Koga [88]). 

The possibility of the deactivation at the reactor walls of vibrationally excited molecules was not considered.
