A BRIEF INTRODUCTION TO THE TAGUCHI METHODS

One of the persons who has made a great impact on the world of quality improvement and control is the Japanese engineer Professor Genichi 

Taguchi. He has developed both a philosophy and a methodology for the process of quality improvement, which depend heavily on statistical concepts and tools. Many Japanese firms have applied these methods with great success.
