IV-C-2. Rate coefficients

IV-C-3 shows rate coefficients obtained by Baker et al. xl0 cm molecule s . An uncertainty of 40 is appropriate since they are all single determinations.

IV-E-IS. Rate coefficients for reaction of NO3 with the larger unsaturated aldehydes

IV-E-S. Rate coefficients

IV-F-1 shows the rate data for reaction of OH with aromatic aldehydes. All of the measurements have been made using relative rate techniques. The most extensive measurements were made by Thiault et al. . The mean values for the rate coefficients for OH with each of the substituted benzaldehydes are shown in table IV-F-1 all measurements were used to derive the mean values. Methyl substitution in the aromatic ring enhances the rate coefficient by 40-50 over that for benzaldehyde, and this increase is repeated with the substitution of a second methyl group.

IV-F-2. Rate coefficients k A cm molecule s for reaction of OH benzaldehyde as a function of temperature

IV-F-3. Rate coefficients for reaction of NO3 with benzaldehyde

IV-F-4 shows the measured rate coefficients, all of which relate to the ambient temperature. The most extensive measurements have been made by Mellouki and

IV-F-6. Rate coefficients for reaction of NO3 with pinonaldehyde

IV-F-8. Rate coefficients A
