IV-1-9. Characteristic Properties of Antidepressant Drugs

IV-16 is a compilation of data for the extraction of Pu by a large number of compounds of this type. The extraction coefficients were converted to 1 extractant by using the square law, that is by assuming that the extracted complex is di-solvated in every case. The distribution coefficients were taken at 1 M HNOg where possible, but cases in which other ions were present or the acidity was different are noted. The extractive power relative to TBP was calculated by direct comparison in the same series of experiments where possible, or by comparison to other TBP data taken under the same stated conditions. The conversion of the phosphine oxide data to 1 M extractant generally required large extrapolations, since the experiments were done at low extractant concentrations. For this reason the numerical values of the distribution coefficients and the relative extractive power are only approximate.

IV-2 Equivalent s Electrons

IV-2 summarises the irradiation conditions.

IV-3 lists solubility information for the more stable Pu compotmds which have been prepared.

IV-3-1 summarizes the drugs of choice available to treat each of the several types of seizures.

IV-3-l. Seizure States and Drugs of Choice

IV-5-1. Other Opioids and Analgesics

IV-6 lists reagents and conditions to effect changes in oxidation state for Pu ions. It must be emphasized that a rdativdy small change in conditions may-produce a large change in the equilibrium, and that some of the oxidation-reduction reactions may proceed beyond those listed. Therefore, the listed reactions should be taken as a guide only.

IV-6-1 summarizes the characteristics of the antipsychotic drugs.

IV-7 lists for this reaction under similar conditions of acidity and ionic strength for different acids.

IV-8 Results of BCR round robins on pure zirconium doped with 1.0 and 0.5 pg g boron
