RWJ-26240 drug discovery route.

RWJ-26240 modified route.

Rwork in per cent following optimization of all included copies of one of the seven problematic residues from 2VB1. Four levels of theory are shown. Isotropic B factors were refined in all cases. The dashed, horizontal line marks Rwork of the initial structure before optimization and PDZ stands for the Pople basis set 6-3IG. The lines are drawn to better guide the eye

Rydberg and continuum interaction channels in ZEKE spectroscopy . IPi to IP3 are particular molecular ionization potentials to which the Rydberg series converge

Rydberg atoms of Na. In H the electron orbits around the point charge of the proton. In Na it orbits around the 11 nuclear charge and ten inner shell electrons. In high states Na behaves identically to H, but in low states the Na electron penetrates and polarizes the inner shell electrons of the Na core.

Rydberg orbitals of ethylene. Shown is an ns orbital .

Rydberg series converging on the doublet limits corresponding to the halogen parent ion in CHaBr. The series are long and well developed, with little intrusion of rovibronic structure. A quantum defect plot is shown alongside. For the meaning of this kind of plot, see chapter 3 .

Rydberg series converging on the J 1 2 doublet limit corresponding to the halogen parent ion in CHaBr. The series are long and well developed a vibrational progression due to excitation of the molecular core occurs towards higher energies .

Rydberg Series for rubidium showing field ionization at wavelengths below the field ionization threshold and 2 1 REMPI above it. Field ionization in this instance begins at n 38, which is a result of an applied electric field of 15,000 V m.

Rydberg series in neptunium obtained by field ionization .
