Xanthoangelol

Xanthoangelol Angelica keiskei (Apiaceae) T NO [T endothelium-derived... [Pg.274]

Fr. 1 and Fr. 2 prolonged survival time and increased the survival rate compared to untreated tumor-removed mice Fig. (16) . Xanthoangelol and 4-hydroxyderricn were isolated from the Fr. 1 and Fr. 2, respectively, as antitumor substances Fig. (17) . [Pg.61]

Xanthoangelol (50 mg/kg, twice daily) inhibited tumor growth on days 11 and 14 compared to growth in LLC-bearing mice Fig. (18) . [Pg.63]

After the surgical operation on day 15, xanthoangelol or CDDP was administered until death. The lung weight and number of metastastic colonies to the lung were measured in the dead mice and. surviving mice killed on day IS. [Pg.64]

The LLC-bearing group (control) consisted of 13 mice xanthoangelol (25 or 50 mg/kg x 2/day)- and CDDP (2.5 mg/kg)-trcatcd groups consisted of 6 mice per group. [Pg.65]

As shown in Fig. (14) , compounds 1-5 inhibited phenylephrine-induced vasoconstriction. Compounds 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 were identified as xanthoangelol, 4-hydroxyderricin, and xanthoangelols B, E and F, respectively, based on the comparison of their spectral data with those of authentic samples. The structures of the five isolated active substances are shown in Fig. (15) . [Pg.73]

Compound 1, xanthoangelol compound 2, 4-hydroxyderricin compound 3, xanthoangelol B, compound 4, xanthoangelol E compound 5, xanthoangelol F. [Pg.74]

As shown in Fig. (17) , 4-hyddreoxyderricin, at a concentration of 10 or 50 pg/mL, inhibited the elevation of [Ca2+]i levels induced by phenylephrine in cultured rabbit aortic smooth muscle cells. Xanthoangelol B at 50 or 100 pg/mL also inhibited the... [Pg.74]
