Telluraisochroman-l-one 143 (81JHC343) and telluraisochroman-3-one 144 (83JHC811) have been prepared by treatment of the respective acyl chlorides with sodium hydrotelluride under the conditions of phase-transfer catalysis in the presence of B N+HSO . The yields are in the range of 50-60%. [Pg.54]
