Viscosity of Monoethanolamine at Various Temperatures

When pure, diethanolamine is a crystalline, white solid which has a melting point of 28 C., or just above room temperature. The commerciol materiol has a mild, ommoniocal odor. 

It is an excellent agent for neutralizing the acidity which is developed by the high percentage af cloys used in rubber compounding, and thus reduces the curing time considerably. It is also used in the production of powerful synthetic detergents and in certain synthetic resins. 

Color and properties Faintly colored, viscous liquid. 

Miscible with water and most organic solvents.
