Fazary, Mohamed, and Lebedeva [369] have examined the protonation equilibria of the 20 standard a-amino acids in water and dioxane-water mixtures. In a separate study Fazary, Ibrahium, and Ju [370] examinee the dependence of the dissociation of L-norvaline, a branched analog ol valine, on solvent properties such as ionic strength and temperature, and in several organic solvents.
