V-H Halogen-Substituted Ketones

The kinetics of the reaction of OH with CH2FCOCH3 have been studied by Carr et al. (2003) at 298 K. The rate coefficient reported by Carr et al. (2003) is given in table V-H-1 and is recommended with an uncertainty estimated to be 25%. CH2FCOCH3 has approximately the same reactivity towards OH radicals as CH3COCH3. [Pg.741]

CH2FCOCH3 is a factor of approximately 2.5 less reactive than CH3COCH3 towards chlorine atoms. [Pg.742]
