Unsymmetric Organogermanium Hydrides

Unsymmetric organogerroanes containing two and three different organic groups are included in this chapter. The compounds compiled in Table 23 are prepared by methods from the following scheme. 

R = organic group, X halogen, n 1, 2. Other unsymmetric organogermanium hydrides are listed in Chapter 7.3.

By rxn. of MePh(l-CxoH7)GeLi with MeOH under retention of configuration ( 17). 

with Br - MePh(l-CxolV)GeBr under racemization ( 17).
