Mexican-U.S. border

NAFTA has greatly increased the number of products that can be transferred across the Canadian-U.S.-Mexican borders. Agricultural products are moving down to Mexico at a rapid pace, the speed of the transfers has improved, and tariffs have been reduced. As a result, the NAFTA consumer has the benefit of lower prices, and producers have lower costs, enabling them to be more responsive to the marketplace. [Pg.17]
