Typology of Waters

Inspection of many certificates of analysis shows that each water has a composition that differs from that of water originating from a nearby source. Nevertheless, a typology of waters can be set up as a function of composition-related criteria. Common properties exist for waters of common origin these properties are a result of the nature of the soil crossed by water. 

Water type V is the most aggressive one, because it has the highest chloride concentration.
