Types of All-Purpose Cleaners

APCs are supposed to be just what the name says—a cleaner for all household purposes. For this reason manufacturers try to make the cleaning potential as powerful as possible, while trying to keep in check any possibility of harming the surface to be cleaned. After all, cleaning by removing a top layer of the surface is not satisfactory. [Pg.11]

These products can also be called BDCs because that is one of their main uses. The prodnct comes in concentrated form that allows it to be diluted to different levels for different tasks. The highest dilution, —0.5 to 1.5% (or 0.6-2 oz. gal. or 5-15mL/L) is used for cleaning floors. Table [Pg.11]

A third type of APC is that packaged as wipes. These also come in ready-to-use concentrations, with which nonwoven substrates are impregnated.
