Tungsten Tellurolates

Bromomagnesium arenetellurolates and halotungsten complexes react in tetrahydrofuran to form mononuclear and dinuclear arenetellurolatotungsten compounds  [Pg.218]

Halocarbonylmanganese and halocarbonylrhenium complexes reacted with diphenyl ditellurium. The resulting tellurium-containing coordination compounds had intact bridging diphenyl ditellurium moieties and no benzenetellurolate ligands. [Pg.218]

However, when decacarbonyldimanganese and diphenyl ditellurium were heated in p-xylene at 125° for 125 hours bis[tetracarbonylbenzentellurolatomanganese] was obtained.  [Pg.219]

Octacarbonyldi- -benzenedinetel]urolatodimanganese 0.78 g (2 mmol) of deeacarbonyldimanganese, 1,4 g (2.5 mmol) of diphenyl ditellurium, and 10 ml of p-xylene are placed in a 150 ml thick-walled glass tube, which is then cooled to — 196°, evacuated, and sealed. The tube is then warmed to 20°, heated in a drying oven atl25°forl25h, cooled, and opened carefully. The reaction mixture is filtered, the red solid is washed with cold xylene, and recrystallized from benzene. [Pg.219]

The anionic complex, in which three dicarbonyl(cyclopentadienyl)manganese groups are connected by a bridging methanetellurolate ligand, was obtained from the corresponding t -tellurido compound and methyl lithium. [Pg.219]
