Trypan blue exclusion method for cell viability estimation

PRELIMINARY PROCEDURE TRYPAN BLUE EXCLUSION METHOD FOR CELL VIABILITY ESTIMATION 

The materials and equipment are the same as those used for the above 96-well assays. 

0 ml of cell suspension with 0.2 ml of Trypan blue solution (0.4%, Gibco). 

Between 5 and 15 min later, count the coloured ( non-viable ) and dye-excluding ( viable ) cells using a haemoc5d ometer.
