This book (i28pp) was published by William Rider and Son Ltd. Only the initials J.K. appear on the title page. Kohn s edition of Splendor Solis, Alchemical Treatises of Solomon Trismosin, Adept and Teacher of Paracelsus bore the Kegan Paul imprint (1921, 104 pp). 

This translation of Solomon Trismosin s life story was made in 1921 by a certain J.K., whose true identity remains unknown. J.K. also added a summary in his own words of how he interpreted Trismosin s description of "the alchemical process called the Red Lion.
