Trimethylamine-carbomethoxyborane

Trimethylamine-carbomethoxyborane is prepared in 84% yield by reacting Mc3NBH2C02H with methyl chloroformate for 1 hr at 0°. This ester has also been prepared in 82% yield by condensing Me3NBH2C02H and CH3OH with dicyclohexylcarbodiimide at ambient temperature for 1 week.  [Pg.84]
